Position: Wine Trade Development Associate
Location: Napa CA
Reports to: Senior Sales Manager
Compensation: $25 /hour + performance-based bonus
**Candidates who bring established sommelier, restaurant, or retail trade contacts may be considered for a higher starting rate.

Role Overview:
We're looking for a Trade Development Associate to support our Trade Account Manager in growing Benchmark's footprint with restaurants and retailers nationwide. This role will focus on opening new accounts, securing meetings, and helping onboard new partners with the high-touch experience our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities:ALL\tIdentify and research new restaurant and retail opportunities in key markets
\tCold call to gather sommelier and buyer contact info (email, phone, etc.)
\tSchedule meetings and tastings for the Trade Account Manager
\tAssist with follow-up and onboarding for new accounts
\tMaintain accurate records of outreach and activity in our CRM
\tHelp facilitate repeat orders and drive engagement with new clients
\tRepresent Benchmark at trade events, hotel tastings, and industry functions by pouring and promoting our wines
\tSupport brand visibility through on-site presence at hospitality activations and strategic partnerships

Performance Bonus:

Who You Are:
\tConfident on the phone and comfortable with cold outreach
\tOrganized, persistent, and resourceful
\tPassionate about wine or interested in learning more
\tComfortable pouring and speaking about wine in front of groups
\tFamiliar with hospitality or restaurant industry (a plus)
\tAble to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
