Your Role:

• Oversee higher-risk resident care activities for assigned unit(s) to minimize infection risk, including wound care, catheter care, incontinence, skin care, point-of-care blood testing, and medication administration
• Participate in the facility’s QAA Committee and annual infection control risk assessments
• Maintain documentation of infection prevention and control program activities
• Perform nursing care activities and document in accordance with policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and physicians
• Support unit performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure staff complete all required educational in-services

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN license in Ohio
• CPR Certification
• Minimum one year recent clinical experience in geriatric nursing
• One year supervisory experience preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
