Data Analyst D & R is a locally owned company, in business since 1990, located in Vestal, NY. We support commercial and defense firms in the development of their products. Those products are as diverse as subway cars, locomotives, military ships, trucks, jets, engine/generator sets, electronic equipment and much more. Our current work structure is a hybrid arrangement of work from home with occasional office visits. In addition, flexible work schedules provide our employees the opportunity to tailor their work schedule. Furthermore, we offer an excellent benefits package for our regular full-time employees. We are seeking entry level candidates to assist with the development and analysis of technical data, to include the following duties: Review, analyze and extract data from various types of engineering source material (such as equipment parts lists, or engineering drawings, or vendor failure reports) Conduct analysis on data and identify additional information required Extract data using report functions for additional review and/or delivery to customer Work as an individual or team member on various projects concurrently Required Skills / Experience: Positive attitude, self-starter, solid work ethic Ability to function in a work-from-home position Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Knowledge of basic Excel and MS Access functions for data entry and manipulation Attention to detail, good spelling/grammar Very accurate typing and data entry skills Ability to multi-task and maintain high level of quality and accuracy in a variety of duties Additional Skills / Experience / Abilities Willingness to travel is required Military background a plus Candidates will be required to successfully complete a skills assessment as part of the interview process. #J-18808-Ljbffr D & R Technical Solutions
